Baptism
If you desire to be baptized or have your child baptized we think that is wonderful. We take baptism very seriously at St. Philip’s and want to ensure that baptism has the full significance and meaning that it deserves.
Baptism marks the beginning of a person’s Christian journey, as they begin to live as a follower of Jesus. Choosing to be baptized or have your child baptized is a significant Christian commitment. Baptism is your promise, supported by your family, friends and the entire congregation, based on your faith and membership in the church, to live your life as a Christian and to raise your child to be a Christian, a faithful follower of Jesus.
We want to help you prepare to make those promises and to that end we have a four week Baptism Prep program. The four sessions are usually held in the evening, for two hours per session.
For more information and/or to register contact our Parish Administrator.
