Chancel Choir
St. Philip’s is pleased to have an adult choir of capable singers who give musical leadership to the church’s worship. We include a range of musical styles in our Anthems that reflect a spectrum of joyful praise, lamentation, exhortation, and ordinary living.
We are always eager to welcome new singers. We invite you to consider joining your musical gifts with ours in worship. We practice on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. We don’t expect 100% attendance but look for your presence when you are able to come.
SingingRocks
This is a group of children, generally of public school age, who are interested in developing their musical skills in the context of worship. We sing, and play Orff instruments and tone chimes. Our practice time follows the Sunday service for half an hour to prepare for participating usually once a month in the service. We’d love to have your children join us. And you’ll be amazed at what they can do!
Joyful Noise
Using a variety of rhythm instruments, this group blends music, fun and games as a way of drawing out the extraordinary gift of music that is found in pre-schoolers. Contact Heather Campbell to find our more and enroll your child.
